History

The Giuliano family first immigrated to the United States from Southern Italy planning to open a deli in the early 1900’s. Shortly after World War II, the Giuliano family migrated westward to arrive in Los Angeles. From 1946 until today, over 13 different retail deli stores throughout the Los Angeles area sold specialty breads leading to what has today become Giuliano’s Bakery.

Starting off as a small, local bakery, Giuliano’s Bakery gradually grew, expanding both in volume of customers and products. An ever increasing variety of loaf breads, dinner rolls, hamburger and hot dog buns were developed initially, encompassing different flavors and toppings, including par-baked, frozen and a hand-made artisan product line. Today Giuliano’s is a nationally recognized brand, making and distributing over 400 different specialty bread items.

Although our founders have passed on, Giuliano’s remains a family owned and operated business. Our highly experienced management team enables us to continue providing excellent service at a fair price to our customers. These values allow us to maintain a high customer retention rate and Nancy Giuliano (Owner and CEO) and her son, Gregory (President), remain dedicated to preserving the Giuliano’s tradition of high quality and exceptional service while continuing to grow.
